Is it really true that I can get cash and gifts just for taking surveys online?
Yes it is. Market research companies are looking for people who will give them feedback on a variety of products and services and they will compensate people for their time. However, not all of the companies have cash payouts - some reward you with merchandise, gift cards, prize draws, reward points etc. etc. Read the fine print
at each survey site you sign up with so you are not disappointed later on.
How can I be sure that the companies will really pay me? Do I have any guarantees?
Although we cannot guarantee that the companies we list will provide you with the compensation they claim, we can tell you that we strive to list only those companies that are legitimate. If we hear of a company reneging on its compensation agreements then we will immediately remove them from our database.
Can I trust these survey companies with my personal information?
The companies we list usually have privacy policies. If you are concerned about the use of your personal information then be sure to READ THE PRIVACY POLICY.
If you don't want your email address given out to third parties then look for that specific reference within the privacy policy.
Will I be hit with tons of spam?
Since we list only reputable survey companies - it is less likely that you will be hit with spam.
The companies may send out occasional email, however, as per the terms you agreed to when you signed up with them. So, once again, be sure to read any terms of use and fine print when signing up (we can't stress this enough).
One strategy you might want to try is to create a separate email account (you can get a free account at gmail.com, hotmail.com, or yahoo.com) specifically for signing up with survey companies. That way if you do end up getting spam it wont interfere with your main account.

Do I have to take surveys from a specific computer (i.e. the computer that I signed up on)?
Nope. You can take surveys from any computer with Internet access. We would recommend that you not 'sign in' to any survey companies website using a public computer as your password could be compromised.
Is there a limit to the number of surveys I can take or how much money or prizes I can earn?
Since there are so many survey companies listed in our database you are really only limited by the amount of time you have to spend filling them out!
However, that being said, each survey company has their own rules and requirements for the surveys they offer. They may be looking for specific demographics only and you may not qualify.
How am I paid/compensated?
This depends on which survey company you are using. Generally you will receive checks or gift certificates in the mail, some companies allow you to be compensated online through Paypal, others give you electronic gift certificates. Remember to check the online terms and instructions of each survey company you sign up with so you know what to expect
Does it matter where I live or how old I am?
In our directory, for each survey offer listed, we indicate where participants must be from. For the most part, if you are in the USA you will be able to sign up with the majority of survey companies. It DOES matter how old you are. Most paid survey companies require that you are 18 years of age and over - some have higher age requirements. Please look at the specific conditions when signing up. Additionally, in order to access this directory you must be 18 years of age or older.
So what do you get out of creating and maintaining this directory?
Good question. When you click on one of the survey company links in the directory and sign up with them
we get a small commission -- usually around $1.00. It's not anything to write home about. That's why we want to
eventually charge for access to this directory instead of giving it away free.
